Hi welcome to Paul-Thys Photography!
As you have probably guessed, my name is Paul and I am wedding and family photographer around London, Surrey, Kent, Essex and beyond!
I am a keen photographer and love working with people to capture those special moments in time that you can cherish forever. Every couple is different and have their own unique stories and deserve a unique set of shots.
A weddings is an incredibly special day and I always feel privileged being able to share it with you.
I hope this website gives you a good insight to my personality and photography, whilst answering any questions you may have.
Background
I have always loved photography and started taking pictures of wildlife at a young age.
After taking photography at college I landed my first job at 18 years old as a photojournalist at The Echo Newspaper. The pressure of deadlines and dynamic atmosphere kept me on my toes and my colleagues' support and guidence kept me focused and pushed me forward.
After shooting a wedding for a friend and seeing my work treasured, I knew what I wanted to do.
Even after 10 years behind the camera I still love capturing and sharing my images with anyone who will enjoy them.
When I put the camera down I enjoy spending time with my family, a huge array of animals, my guitar and just being outside.
